At Fused Glass Art we are renowned for our bottle clocks! We have big ones, small ones, green ones, blue ones, clear ones, brown ones and even a sapphire blue one but the common dominator with all of them is that they are all handmade by us, and they are all made from recycled glass bottles.
It’s not as easy as you would think finding the right bottles, as although the world is filled with used wine bottles, trying to find the right one to create the perfect bottle clock is the challenge! We wouldn’t be lying if we said that we have done some pretty clever scavenging to find some of our best bottles for our clocks!
Thanks to the internet we also have been given a lot of bottles, but another thing to consider is that if you have a favourite bottle or drink that you want making into a bottle clock then we can easily do this or you. Our most recent commission has been a couple that are just about to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary, so the mother in law sent us their favourite drink bottle (empty I may add!) that we have made into a lovely wine bottle clock. A great memento!
One of our best selling bottle clocks at the moment is our Jack Daniels bottle clock. This is for many reasons, not least the quality of how it’s made, but because it is instantly recognisable and people love the unique factor of a whiskey bottle being made into a clock. Hi,
My brother got married last year and had pictures of him and his partner on the wine bottles. I have two which I’d like to turn into clocks. Please email me with details of how to get the bottles to you and how much it would cost to make two clocks.
Kind regards
Rudi
